PRACTICING SABBATH:

JOHNSONBURG YOUTH RETREAT RESOURCE

Prospect youth were scheduled to attend the Spring Johnsonburg Youth Retreat on the topic of Sabbath, but the pandemic cancelled those plans. The leaders, however, have graciously prepared materials that can be used at home or on youth zoom meetings. These resources were written in light of the challenges of living in the time of a pandemic. Included in the resource are Scripture, questions, prayers, links to worship music, and suggestions of ways to respond.

ZOOM WITH US

Middle and Senior High students meet by zoom with their ConnectEd leaders the second and fourth Thursdays of the month from 7:00-8:00 PM. If attendance allows, students will be divided into separate middle and senior high chat rooms for discussion. In order to keep the meetings secure, please use the chat button or the contact page to request the zoom invitation.

MIDDLE AND SENIOR HIGHS (grades 6-12) meet weekly for ConnectEd classes, 9:15-10:15 AM, September-May; however, the schedule may be impacted by Covid-19 considerations.

Annual events include Johnsonburg youth retreats, a lock-in, the Mission Soup fundraiser, and the Sr. High Summer Mission Trip. The 2020 trip was cancelled due to the pandemic.
